Overseas Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a qualified yoga instructor to join our beautiful boutique resort on an Indian Ocean island off of the coast of Mozambique. We have 14 luxury villas and this is our website: www.azura-retreats.com We currently offer various activities including, diving, fishing, island hopping, island drives, star gazing and spa treatments, and wish to add yoga to our offering.

As yoga would not be a full time position, we are looking for somebody who can also work in a Guest Relations type role.

Your role would consist of:

- one general yoga class per day

- private yoga classes dependent on demand

- a Guest Relations role.

Requirements:

- qualified yoga teacher

- a friendly personality with good communication skills

- well organized

- excellent English essential

- additional European language skills a bonus

- if you are well traveled to help develop conversations with guests, that is also a plus.

Mum-of-two, Katie Brown runs Yoga Babes – yoga for expectant and new mums – and yoga for babies!

Katie is IYTA trained and a qualified Infant Massage teacher (Infant Massage Australia) and a qualified pregnancy massage therapist. Katie has released a DVD – Yoga for Pregnancy and Birth which runs for 70 minutes and features two pre-natal yoga routines, a relaxation and a section on using Yoga and labour massage for childbirth.

The DVD is $29.95 – and a great teaching aid.

She has also released two narrated relaxation CDs, with music by Ian Cameron Smith. Each CD runs for 65 minutes and features three unique relaxations aimed at calming mum and bub! Each CD costs $25 or all three can be purchased for $70 – plus $5 postage and handling.

Katie is currently expecting her third child and runs classes and workshops on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
